Hello and welcome

My name is Kiril Semerdzhiev from Velingrad, Bulgaria. I'm 22 years old and currently studying Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at the Culinary Arts Institue in Varna

If you've gotten this far

Thank you for your attention. Here's some more info about yours truly

Having a passion for food and cooking from a young age, pursuing a career in the industry was only natural for me. Getting my first restaurant job at 20 as a junior pastry chef in my hometown of Velingrad, a well known tourist destination in the country and Europe as a whole, that experience shaped the ideals I have now and made me the person I am today.

I knew this was what I wanted to devote my life to. So here we are today. How's that for character development

RECIPES

Still with me? amazing!
Here's a few of my own recipes for you to have
 a go at

Citrus Fruits

1

Apple Pie, sort of

The first real recipe I ever wrote, from all the way back in 2019.

It has all the flavours of a classic apple pie but torn down and built back from the ground up.

This is not your grandma's apple pie. Or your mum's. Or your auntie's, for that matter...

2

The Best Bulgarian Tikvenik

A Fall and Winter staple in any Bulgarian household. A warm, flaky dessert made with pumpkin, phyllo dough and, depending on which recipe you're following, sugar syrup.

This one has the sugar syrup, because 'tis the season where calories do not exist.

3

White Chocolate Lava Cakes

An interpretation on the classic chocolate lava cake, traditionally made with ganache but nowadays the world over it's usually the underbake version and usually made with milk or dark chocolate or a mixture of the two. Here we're using white chocolate, which is my favourite kind of chocolate.

Do not try to tell me how it's not real chocolate, I will not listen.
